The birthday festivities started on Saturday. Emma had a couple of friends over and we all went to Monsters vs. Aliens in 3-D. After the movie, which everyone enjoyed very much, we headed back home for presents and cupcakes.
That evening we went to the Pizza Factory for dinner. The kids were most excited about the garlic twist bread.
Sunday morning Emma went to the church for her baptism interview with the bishop. She seemed kind of nervous about it so we'd talked to her about what the questions were and that it would be very easy. But Josh and I were both worried, not that she wouldn't be able to be baptized, but just that she wouldn't say anything to the bishop at all. She refuses to shake his hand let alone talk to him. So we were amazed when she did just great. As soon as she got home she said, "That was so easy!
Monday we had a family party where she opened her presents and then after ballet class and dinner we had cake and ice cream.
