Yesterday we here in Utah celebrated Pioneer Day, well some people did, others celebrated Pie 'N Beer day. At work we celebrated with pie and root beer floats. I thought it was a pretty good way to celebrate. I guess Pie 'N Beer day is for those pioneers who came to Utah not seeking religious freedom but rather, tall mountains, soft powdery snow, good jobs, and a cost of living lower than California's.

Rootbeer and Pie sounds good. Maybe that's how we should start celebrating the holiday in California where we are all rebels anyway.
